This is only a reel tape recorded with the music of "Metamorphoses" and some bonus tracks out off different other Jarre albums. Please note: as to my knowledge, there's only one reel tape with genuine Jarre music on it: the "Essential" compilation (1983 version that is. Please refer to my website at

As far as I'm aware - he's trying to get rid of the tape which still has Metamorphoses on it. It's like selling a DVD-RW which is not erased...

because for actually selling the music, he has to sell the music in its originality, that means: if Metamorphoses WAS released on reel2reel tape, he could sell it as it is. But as soon as he has only recorded Meta on that tape, he's not allowed to sell it (same as with home made CD-Rs of commercial releases). Instead of that, he's only selling the tape and "gives away" the music for free..... So this way he could not be sued legally (he's not making money with the explicit sale of music, but with selling a prerecorded tape)

That's what I said - it makes no sense at all what he's trying to do. He may as well erase Metamorphoses from the tape and then sale it...
But let's not dig too deep into this one issue and return

For a long time it was not quite clear if these Chinese or Taiwanese items Jorge Landeira was / is selling are genuine or Bootlegs. Looking at them now and also from talks I had with other collectors, I declare them as boots. This goes for the BRO189 CD release as well as for the "Limited Edition" of the "AERO" D410-162 DVD release.
This thread basically isn't about bootlegs in general, because we all know what bootlegs are, but with these two items being offered on eBay every other day, people should know that they're dealing with fake genuine items once they're crossing the following two:
