Special experiences you made with Jarre albums

Just came to my mind that back in 1993, when I was in Toronto, I paid about 70 CAN$ for the "Chronologie" CD, because it was not only an import CD at that time, but them Canadians also put some sort of horrendous taxes on top of every price.....

That was by far the most expensive regularly released (Jarre)-CD I have ever bought, and still is (not counting all those specialties I own now).... But eagerly awaiting any news about our master, I paid this price with my eyes closed

This just crossed my mind at this moment, so I thought I'd share. So if you have some special and priceless experiences with any of Jarre's albums, please let us know.....

I was visiting England and I went to this used record store.

They had two copies of Juvet "Paris By Night" LP. One regular copy and one white test pressing. The regular one was fairly cheap but the test pressing they wanted something like 50 pounds!

They were kind of rude because I wanted the cheap one. Or maybe because I was an American, hahaha! Actually they were one of those stores to busy to answer questions and just want you to bu and leave!

So I bought the regular cheap one.

I get back to the US and when I pulled out the album it was the white test pressing one. The guy was so snobby and rushed with me he wasn't paying attention to the one he put in the bag.

What was I going to do, send it back to the UK? Uh...no way! I guess he was :pwned:
