What's your opinion about this?
I think its a great album, very special. Less experimental than previous ones, but more melody. Jarre used a lot new instruments!
My favs are Revolution, Computer week-end, Overture, September.

IMHO one of the best JMJ's albums
I just love it...it has fantastic oriental feel
And Overture is great opening-song

There are some great songs. I like Industrial Revolution 1, 2, 3 a Revolution, Revolution but on the other hand there are some songs that I don´t listen to at all like September and Emigrant. It´s not my most favourite but maybe it needs time to understand. I remember I always skipped Rendez-vous 2 while listening the album and now it´s my most favourite.

Different from other Jarre-albums, but a lovely one. One of my favourites!

All the album has by far the best and most futuristic percussion anywhere.
To bad JMJ gave up on it after a successfull revisit (though short) with Calypso 2 intro.
Kind Regards,

Very good album, but September are probably Jarre's worst song EVER!!!
The opening suite is brilliant, though!

I have to say it's my least favourite Jarre album, though some parts are great. On the contrary I think it's a very experimental album.

Very good album with very good songs.... BUT the D50 use does make it sound a little dated.

I like this album very much, but I usually skip the Emigrant. Just sounds a bit too cheesy to me. Nothing wrong with the composition, the gurgel strings just sounds too plastic to my taste.
I do think this album sounds a bit 'flat'. The orchestral suite at the beginning could've sound way more powerful with a lot more fx, which counts for all tracks on the album, imo. I love September, that vocal solo is awesome!

I like it. I rarely almost never listen to Tokyo Kid. Emigrant and September are also two tracks I rarely listen to. I like September but not the gosbel vocals and the njah njah sounds.
IR Ouveture and part 1 and 2, Revolution and London kid are tracks are listen to from this album. Computer weekend is also a great track but I prefer the version from Images.

I agree with AMR on the Percussion side of things,Probably the one Album where Jarre has put more effort into his Drum Programming, every other albums seems to be based around the same loops with no real fills.
This album shows he is capable of some proper rhythm programming when he puts his mind to it....
Overall its a great Album

Fantastic. Just got out my old LP of it and it's simply amazing. One of the three top best (with Equinoxe and Oxygene 7-13). I can't express how much I love this whole album.

With Tokyo kid as the best track.... I think... with The Ouverture!!!
