I don't really know them, to be honest!

I like to explore new music though, so is there anything you would recommend me? ;)

DP = "Electro Funk"

1st album Homework is cool, though nothing new or different or a benchmark.
In a way they are a "one trick pony".

Though Thomas Bangalter's (half of Daft Punk)
Stardust's "Music sound better with you" is superb late 90's disco. house classic.

Thomas Bangalter is the king of french house aka filter house, he also released music by himself. Some people just find french house boring, not me. Daft Punk is not fench house but you will find some prints of french house in their music.

Yes, Discovery rocks. I have all their albums. The best of with the DVD's pretty good, but the new videos aren't anything too special.

I Only like the Track "Around the World" everything else is repetitive electro shit!... Most of their Music is far too bland and predictable

I´ve just heard their album Homework and I like it. It remins me a little bit of Fat Boy Slim. Funky songs with loud drum beat. 8)

The album Discovery was a popular hit maker and I think it was really genius...now, after HumanAfterAll they are nearly forgotten.
It was to monotone and it's hard to find something new about DP wich is sad... :roll:

Homework is also full of monotonous tracks, but they are great. 'Alive' is one of my favourite tracks of that album. Human After All was recorded on 3 months. The disc is black, and there are only a few imgaes inside the sleeve. I don't think that album was meant to be a big hit album. This albums still has some great tracks. 'Human After All', 'Robot Rock', 'Primetime Of Your Life', 'Emotion' and 'Make Love'.
