Maybe it was costing too much, and as his children were too old to live with him...
And on the other hand, he lived there with Charlotte Rampling, and when he divorced, he had to sell the house to share the money, then he found a flat in Paris

I guess the moving came because he wanted to do a radical change and didn't need that much space anymore for all his instruments.....

But he has his studio in Bougival now, nops ?

As far as I know - Isabelle A. made him leave that place. She didn't want to be remembered of JM's previous life.

As far as I know, yes.

If I lived near there I would go and view the house but the estate agents might do background money checks to see if people are genuine buyers.
