THE OXYGENIUS PROJECT - HELP WANTED!!!

The JARRE UK Team is currently working on a project for the 30th Anniversary of Jean Michel Jarre's 'OXYGENE' Album, which we have entitled 'OXYGENIUS', which we intend to give to Jean Michel Jarre later this year, as a gift from the JARRE UK Team and Jean Michel Jarre Fans.

JARRE UK would therefore like to kindly ask for your assistance in making this project possible. 'OXYGENIUS' is designed to be a special multimedia presentation, that will act as a souvenir of Jean Michel Jarre's 'OXYGENE' Album, featuring Photographs, Newspaper & Magazine Articles from the time of the Album's launch, to Photographs and Articles from Jean Michel Jarre Fans, illustrating what 'OXYGENE' means to them today, either from a musical perspective or from an environmental perspective, a topic that has become a very high-profile subject in the world these last few years.

JARRE UK would also like to invite Jean Michel Jarre Fans to send in their own Artwork inspired by 'OXYGENE', and once we have all the facilities in place, we would also like to invite Jean Michel Jarre Fans to send in their own Cover Versions/Remixes of Tracks taken from the 'OXYGENE' Album.

At the moment, as this project is in it's early stages, JARRE UK would like to ask Jean Michel Jarre Fans to concentrate on assisting with sending in Photographs, Newspaper & Magazine Articles from the time of the launch of 'OXYGENE' in 1976/1977, and sending in your personal Photographs that represent what 'OXYGENE' means to you, a similiar idea as to what Jean Michel Jarre conducted for the sleeve notes of his 'AERO' Album in 2004.

Cool idea that I'm sure many will kindly participate in. Shame in a way that the fans are the only one's who appear to be doing something (at this stage) for the 30th Anniversary of this timeless album.

The temporary E-Mail Address to use is jarre.uk at btinternet.com. It will probably be replaced with another E-Mail Address soon. I have deliberately not written the E-Mail Address with the proper "at" symbol "@", to reduce the risk of spam from spiders trawling the internet for references to E-Mail Addresses. I have had major problems in this area since putting E-Mail Addresses on JARRE UK's News Pages, so I'm trying to learn from my mistakes.

I hope this makes sense...

I pledge I can do a computer color drawing by my own means on this special occasion... And send it over very quickly. I'll make it the quicker I can. No needs photographs or paper cuts. I like the Oxygène Artwork so much, it will be wishefully inspiring to me.

BTW, anyone knows the actual date of Original Oxygène Worldwide Release ?

Beginning of 1977, as it was released in France on December 1976, but I have no exact date...
