I have almost cryed seing this in youtube. It was my first Jarre concert ever. When he was a dazzling musician, i was 18 years old then...
I hope he´ll do other time this kind of stuff.

Yet it's a shame that recording has a lot skips towards the end, the sound and video quality both seem millions of times better than the other EIC recordings that are out there. In fact, that's almost reasonable quality compared to 'trash 'like the other recordings pretty much are.

Thanks a zillion Eugenio, that was a blessing to watch. Superb.
Yet I've always wondered what the Santiago concert was like, cause there are barely any pictures of it around and I heard the venue was the square in front of the famous cathedral...
(don't know if it's true though)
I'd really love to see some pictures of this show... anyone?

I don't have that for my case

But about this Chronologie 1 video, I own the source, the quality is slightly better, and it seems like it has been recorded by special cameras, so maybe a video is available somewhere, but where !?

Really, i discovered the video today, in Youtube. I didn´t know about it. For me is a lot of emotion, because i was over there, in that night. It was like a dream. Merzouga was my second, and i liked more the Santiago show, i think by the cause of the new album then, CHRONOLOGIE.
The sound was amazing, more powerfull than in Merzouga. Although Merzouga was fine too.
The rumours said, yes, the concert would be in the Catedral square, but it was finally in the "air open" auditory El Monte del Gozo. A few of kms. beyond the ancient downtown.
We were 29.000 people at the concert, almost full (30.000).
It was the first and the most brilliant spanish concert of the EIC, with more bises: Chrono 4, Magnetic Fields 2 and Chrono 2.
At the end of the concert i felt myself like a pure energic spirit.

No, despite not
Great story Santi, but maybe you can try to contact the organisators of the show, maybe they can say if it was broadcasted or not on TV, and then, if it was, maybe either someone recorded or you can ask the video to the TV channel

I'l try it also some years ago with the broadcast of "Europe In Concert - Brussels"! Yes, it was entierly recorded by the Belgian TV-channel "VRT" (Now renamed as "één")! They sais to me "We have a cutted version and a full version on tape of that concert, but we don't have the permission to give a copy to you! The permission is to Jarre and his recordcompany! Sorry!" Sadely it wasn't broadcasted on television! Maybe the same story goes for the recording of the "Santiago"-concert!
Greetzzz...

Thanks for the info Christophe, but which recordcompany is it ?
I guess that's Dreyfus, too bad, let's hope JMJ will release a boxset of EiC videos one day, that would be awesome...

I have translated some of the comments, seems like this is only a meeting with JMJ, no concert

The Santiago concert wasn´t broadcasted. I am sure.
About the last FM, are only rumours about a meeting fan.
