The Shadows - Equinoxe V

In 1988 Jean Michel teamed up with 60's guitar player Hank Marvin on London Kid which was released as part of the Revolutions album. Hank also joined Jean Michel live on stage during the Destination Docklands concert. Since then tracks by Jean Michel Jarre have featured regulary in Hank Marvin/The Shadows concerts. The following track (Equinoxe V) is taken from The Shadows live at the NEC Birmingham, England 2005.

Wow! Nice! I like the addition of Equinoxe 7, and the synth drums!
It's great to see one of Jarre's songs being played by one of his heroes, Hank Marvin.

Oldie, but goodie.
Equinoxe V was already on The Shadow's album (must have been Change of Address) by early 1980's though.

I have the DVD of this gig. It's called "The Shadows Live" and it's from 1982 (or something) not from 2005!!! But I have also a DVD from 2005 with the title "The final tour". And I saw "The Shadows" in 2005 in Vorst Nationaal, Brussels. And, yes, Hank, Bruce and Brian plays "Equinoxe V". Awsome!!!!

To be honest I wasn't sure when the concert was. I took it from a cd/dvd called The Shadows Platinum Collection which was released last year.
I saw Hank Marvin play live in 1994 (not with the Shadows) when he opened the concert with Oxygene 4. Afterwards he very kindly signed my 7" copy of London Kid.

I have a 2 CD live of The Shadows + the DVD , it's issued in France
on 2004 , called " The final tour " , the sleeve is red with white lettring ,
and of course , there is " équinoxe 5 " played live !
The label is Eagle records / Naive .
