CONDUCTOR OF THE MASSES
Issues 1 - 27 (1990 - 2000)
Over the next few weeks, I will be posting up scans of one of the best fan magazines ever published about Jean Michel Jarre; Conductor Of The Masses. The fan magazine ran from 1990 to 2000, from issue 1 to the final released issue 27. Each magazine posted up will be in full.
The magazines were compiled by Mark Gidley and released year quarterly. The first 2 issues were printed on standard stock paper with matt covers with contents in black and white. Then from issue 3 to 6 the covers became gloss with matt pages. From issue 7 to 15 the magazines became colour with gloss covers and pages. All issues from 1 to 15 were in size A5 format. The first few issues having a small selection of images, to latter issues having more photographs as each issue was released. From issue 16 to the last issue of number 27, the format became bigger, A4 in size and this time packed even more with photographs.
COTM issue sizes:
A5 size: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14 and 15
A4 size: 12/13, 16/17, 18, 19, 20/21, 22/23, 24, 25, 26/27
All the issues cover Jarre's early years, present times, concerts that include Paris La Defense, Docklands, China, Swatch, Europe In Concert, Concert For Tolerance, Oxygene Tour, Moscow, Jarre Apple Expo, Electronic Night, Metamorphoses Showcase, The Twelve Dreams Of The Sun, and much more, most with behind-the-scenes images. Also included are interviews with Jarre, Francis Rimbert, Mark Fisher, Laurent Faucheux, Dominic Perrier, Christophe Papendieck, Michel Geiss and many others.
To accompany the magazines, two special folders were produced to house the issues. One in A5 size and coloured blue with gold lettering on the spine. The other was for the A4 issues and finished in maroon with gold lettering on the spine.
Best way to enjoy these is too save the image in your picture folder, and open them from there. That way you can enlarge the image and read smaller text easier.

Assistance required - Unfortunately, I do not have issues 1 & 2. So these issues here will only start from issue 3. However, if anyone has issue 1 & 2, if they have the time to scan the cover and contents pages, could you contact me and I will happily add them to this selection here.
