Onion accident

Well, it just had to happen to me wouldn't it!.
Here I am, layed up in a hospital bed. Last night while preparing a salad, I accidently cut up a daffodil bulb, mistaking it for a onion. And now I'm in hospital with terrible stomach pains.
The doctors say I should be out in the spring.

Just goes to show bulbs/flowers are not very good to eat. Did you buy the onions from a supermarket or are you growing them? The latter would make more sense for the mix-up.

Still you never know....With the threat of Global warming,you could be out before the Spring,so at least there is some hope!
