Wouldn't be surprised if this guy was telling the truth actually, the US governent has hid various things since the Truman administration, and once again they have no respect for human rights whatsoever. The world needs to do something about the Americans (government, not people).

Don't know if I believe there's ever been any UFO's even close to Earth, but I do believe in intelligent life out there somewhere. Seeing as the universe is infinite, it would be strange otherwise.

Yeapp...and you are definitely not alone about that thought.
There are theoretically about 10 000 stars in just our own galaxy that still is unexplored.
UFO is something that most peoples observes at least sometimes a year without thinking "UFO". It could be weather ballons, satellites, meteors, some junk in the atmosphere...but as soon as you have the smallest doubt, it's an U.F.O. (Unidetified flying object) until a natural explanation is proven. It doesn't have to be "aliens" involved...it's simply lack of information about an observed flying object.
And they have probable been around for a very long time now.

When I said laugh my bottom off I didn't mean that I didn't believe in UFOs but the thing to cover them up is just so typical American to do imo!

Dear God... this is what happens when you try to uncover the truth. You get laughed at as a fraud and then sent off to be 'dealt with'.

First off, that story sucked loud, the guy wanted to try "hoow far he could get" (even disturbing Columbia flightplan), and the community turned down on him, so he's making stories to appear as Robin Hood.

Second, insert your favourite prison name to get an ear/eye-catching story, the site alone makes the article very plausible...

Third, everything else with the story is completely insane- the "evidence" he suggest is russian craft that NASA got attention in in early nineties. The craft is designed to use air pillow to fly just few meters above the water- in conception it was designed as low-cost alternative to shuttles (the water ones). The "big thing" would go as fast as 300 km/h.

NASA is involved in many such projects, like co-participating with Boeing and Tubolev, design of hypersoniic aircraft (using Tu-144 as a testbed).
