This is possibly old news, but I have just finished reading Graeme Thomson's biography on Kate Bush. On page 289 a small mention of JMJ is made relating to his proposed collaboration with Bush (Metamorphoses' track 'Give Me A Sign'). JMJ stated at the time that Bush was taking time out from the public eye, but he like many others kept private the news of her pregnancy when told of it.

Kraftwerk was invited too, but just a kraft man said yes, the other, refuse. But I don't remember who said yes or who said No.

I remember reading about it at the time but thought it was an unconfirmed report. Shame it never happened as I'm sure a version featuring Kate would have been brilliant.

The book seems to confirm the original report. I read the JMJ quote on COTM in early 2000. You can hear on the track as it's stands how JMJ how JMJ wrote it for Kate.

Me, too.
Now, that would have been an interesting track.
Though I like "Give Me A Sign" the way it is, too.

Jean Michel would be a great Heathcliff. I know it is offtopic but Kate's track Wuthering Heights comes to mind.
