I was discussing this with La Cage on MSN and we thought the Rendez-Vous 4 single with Houston skyline might be the rarest. But it can also be the Chronologie 4 single for that matter. What do you think?

Yes, it could also be Chronologie 4 (7" and 12"), and maybe Magnetic Fields 4 (12") from Spain? Not sure if that's rare or not.

Q: What's the rarest 7"?
A: Chronologie 4 12" :pwned:

Isn't the MF5 Last Rumba 7" very rare?
How about Oxygene 4/Eldorado 7"?

I think the rarest 7" Vinyl Single is Chronologie 6 with Chronologie 7 on the B-Side. I only know one Dutch Fan who owns it. It is even not listed on jarre.ch

The rarest 12" Vinly Maxi might be Oxygene in the Ghetto, or Rendez Vous II Houston. Has anybody information if Oxygene in Moscow was released on Vinyl? It is listed on jarre.ch but without scans. So this is not a serious proof...

Btw, why isn´t jarre.ch updated anymore?

There's no such thing as a Chronologie 6 vinyl single. Can't be. The last 7" released was Chronologie 4 and that was only for jukeboxes.

I always thought the same untill I saw the single. Believe me, it exists! I will ask my friend to scan it and then I will post it here.

I think the webmaster lost some interest due to the fact that there's very little to collect nowadays and that most of the JMJ stuff out there is already on the website.
However, I think this Chronologie 6/7 7" you mention is definitely worth an update.

As for Oxygene in Moscow 12", wasn't it once on eBay without any picture?

These were all standard 7 inch releases-

Equinoxe 5, Norway
Live at the Concorde, Ireland
Magnetic Fields 5 (The last rumba), Holland
Fourth Rendez Vous (Houston Skyline Sleeve), Germany

If you want to include promo's and test pressings then try the following-

EQUINOXE.
EQUINOXE 5 UK JARRE 1 - ONE SIDED ETCHED B-SIDE
EQUINOXE 5 USA PD 14531 - PLAIN SLEEVE

CHINA CONCERTS.
ORIENT EXPRESS JAPAN 7DM 0055 - HAS SEPARATE FRONT COVER

RENDEZ VOUS.
RENDEZ VOUS 4 UK PODJ 788 - LABEL ON ONE SIDE ONLY
ENCUENTRO MEXICO S/N 598 - POLYGRAM SLEEVE

IN CONCERT.
EQUINOCCIO ARGENTINA 0000278-A - HOUSTON/LYON

REVOLUTIONS.
REVOLUTIONS UK PO25 - ONE SIDED TEST PRESSING
LONDON KID FRANCE 871 642-7 - TEST PRESSING

IMAGES.
ELDORADO SPAIN JARRE1 - IMAGES ALBUM SLEEVE

CHRONOLOGIE.
CHRONOLOGIE 4 FRANCE JMJ 0693 - ONLY 500 PRESSED. JUKEBOX USE ONLY

OTHER RECORDINGS.
MOONMACHINE USA # 18 - FLEXIDISC

I'd love to see scans of the Chronologie 6/7 single. Certainly worth investigating whether it's genuine or a bootleg.

Didn't read about 7", only about single. Sorry, GeeJee, if I was an idiot. But The Last Rumba and Oxygene 4/Eldorado are not rare at all. They're always on sites like ebay, cdandlp, gemm, etc. So... :pwned: to you too.
