Of to the cinema soon to see another fav' muscian of mine, Peter Gabriel and his Orchestra (instead of his regular rock band) playing lots of hits and new tracks.
Got me thinking...
JMJ has had in the past an orchestra playing on a few of his tracks at his concerts, Souvenir of China, Millions of Stars, RV2 etc. But always playing in the background. Better example was at the Concerts of China (Fishing Junks at Sunset)
Point am making here, is would anyone pay to see Jean Michel ON HIS OWN play his music accompanied by a proper full blown orchestra and choir. Just him sat in the corner or (middle) with small bank of digital/analogue keyboards (no comedy cymbals) and no jumping round like a lunatic either!
Yes, we have had the Symphonic CD a while back A missed opportunity.
I'm already dreaming of an orchestral Ethnicolor with JMJ playing on keytar (like Lyon) and on that percussion instrument used at Lyon, Docklands & Tolerance.
