Another interesting case is Jarre's name and surname misspelled.

Versions I've seen were: "Jean Michelle Jarre", "Jean Michael Jarre", "Jean Michel Jarr", "Jean Michele Jarre"

The most annoying thing is to read comments criticising Jarre for everything possible with his name spelled wrong...what can such an author know about the artist if he even doesn't know how his name should be spelled...

I could also say much about tracks you can find in the net signed as composed by Jarre (which were created by Vangelis/Tangerine Dream/another artist)...or signed f.e. "Jean-Michel Jarre&Vangelis"

Some years ago I found a track called "Jean Michel Jarre & Vangelis - Crockett's Theme". I don't know the original author of that track.

When I didn't know the word Rendez-Vous, I just spelled it like it was written. Maybe something like rændætvous

I still don't know how Je Me Souviens is spelled, so that's a word I don't say in public as I will get a word that sounds like the danish word for home "hjemme" and then I would spell Souviens like it is written.

How to spell Je Me Souviens ?
Je like Je and Me like Me , Souviens : "Sou" for "soon", and VI (like VIctory) and IENS (like "I") plus EN (like you say "un" (one) in french !)
You just have to not pronounce the S at the end of the word

For Rendez-Vous it is [Rãdevu], without pronouncing the S

Ok then I was actually right about Souviens.

I know how Rendez-Vous is spelled but I didn't some years ago

Sometimes people dunnow how to say "ien" in french

I know he is the original author but this version I had was a cover.

I was spelling "Les Chants Magnetiques" as "Les Chants Magnetices."

Last year, at the Gdansk shipyard, he was spelt "Jean Michael Jarre" on the LED display at the entrance up until half an hour before they let us in. Too bad I didn't have my camera with me.

It's really...odd, not to use other adjective, that people orginizing the concert even don't know how to spell the name of the artist :/

His name was also written Jean Michael Jarre from the 1981 interview.
