I haven't seen it, but I've experienced a supercell spawning one here in Hamburg back in March. The twister plowed through Harburg's harbour area destroyed among other things a boat shed, and used a roof panel to cut a power line and black out all of Hamburg's south for hours. I was glad to live so close to a hospital, so we were the first down here to have their electricity back.

18 years ago a very small Tornado ("Tromb") were passing by our house.
We couldn't see what it looked like cause it was pressing rain water against all the windows -you couldn't see outside at all. The glass were bending slightly and if they shouldn't had been made of doubled glasses they may probable had imploded. It really sounded somewhat like a huge vacuum cleaner. We had a tent in the garden and found the sticks from it 100 meters away. A 50 meters broad gate was created in the woods with trees thrown a side by their roots.
I also haven't seen tornadoes in my life, and be honestly i don't really want it...
But when a pretty supercell is coming with heavy rain and/or hail..., well thats a scary but wonderful weather!
