I know I may get some some stick over this but...

Is Jean Michel effectively retired now? Or just not bothering much these days?

I mean, no new album since 2007 despite all the talk about a new one in progress..

The Perth concert, on or off??

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of JMJ, seen some great shows from LaDefense, EiC, Eiffel Tower Shows, Oxygene Tours Mk1 & 2, stopped at the Indoor Show, because quite frankly I was embarrassed, dodgy keytar solo's, naff renditions of past great tunes..

So, is this it for JMJ?? No last hurrah, just fading away??

I've been saying that for years. All albums after Metamorphoses I consider sideprojects or things he liked to do in his spare time. Some of the are great, so I'm happy about that. If you keep that in mind, waiting is not that hard.

I hope for another new album album, while yes I do enjoy the side project albums, I do wish he does another album album. I'ts a bit weird not having stuff of any artist I really enjoy alot since 2007: Jarre, Oldfield (technically 2008) and Vangelis haven't done a real album since then, and no I don't consider Chariots of Fire The Stage Play a new album, it's mostly reworking of older tracks with a few new ones. I do like it alot, but I'd rather have a complete new album...
