Wow never seen those before. What are they and where did you get them from. How long has it taken you to get them all. A bit more info about the collection would be great. Congrats.

They're festive stones, released in 1994. It's a French tradition, these stones. They're decorative stones for cakes. I bought the 5-women stone back then. And over the years, I found everyone on ebay; there's the orange, green, violet, blue and yellow stone.

I have three of the five plus the one with all five ladies on. Prices average out at about £7-8 pounds each so a complete set isn't cheap. On eBay a search for Jean Michel Jarre usually brings them up (Dr Jones might be able to suggest other searches).

There are not stones but ceramics. In France, we put one those that we call "fève" (same word as a kind of big bean), in an almond cake (in Nothern France mainly) that we call "Galette des Rois" to celebrate Epiphany (the visitation of the Biblical Magi to the Baby Jesus) on the 1st Sunday of the year (soon !). The guest who gets the fève in his/her piece becomes the king/queen and wears a crown. Children love it!
