Correct me if I'm wrong but... 5.1 from 2.0 source is false 5.1, right? I mean, if the concert wasn't really recorded on 5.1 then you're only mixing 2 channels and giving different effects to TRY to imitate a real 5.1. Is this correct? Besides, don't you think one message for all your DVDs is enough? Greetings.

I've done this myself a couple of times by filtering different sounds from the mix and making then making a semi surroundsound (read fa mix (since the source is still 2.0), to get an actual surroundsound mix you would need the original seperate recordings of all the individual instruments. But it can be somewhat done, but like I said I've a couple of semi surround mix by having music play through all the channels and having here and there a somewhat different equalized effect throughout the music :)

Or if you are lazy you just put a phaser over the music and make the effect go to the rear channels, that's also possible! :punch:

I agree, its pretty pathetic creating multiple threads to flog your bootlegs. One thread is enough.
