How does this compare to the bootleg version quality wise?
Much as adore Apple I don't yet have an iTunes account and I don't know if I want to start one for one album, I prefer to have the 'real thing' - but we will see!!

The quality of this one is superb, very good to listen too, comes highly recommended by me. As for the iTunes only release, well, I think people with turntables said that 16 years ago, when Jean Michel released a longer version of Waiting For Cousteau on CD only, I think they commented "I won't buy a CD player for just that", but I think iTunes is the medium of the future and much releases will follow that way. As much as I prefer to have a real disc in stead too, I think we'll have to get used to it

The problem with my copy of the bootleg is that during tha last two songs there's a lot of CD-skipping sounds. I prefer to listen to the new release

Alive in Bourges is the best track on it!

Yes Alive in Bourges is indeed the best track!
Too bad this wasn't released in iTunes for the U.S. And we are unable to purchase from other iTunes stores. Trying to find Jarre Cds in stores is hard enough but this is really tougH!
Thankfully a nice person on the forum was kind enough to share it!

My favorite was Body Language because it was the biggest departure I've EVER heard Jarre make from his organic and/or synthpoppish roots. It reminds me of one of my other fave bands, Autechre. ^^

Some parts of Body Language reminds me of Prodigy...and it has many cool sounds too.

I like "Alive In Bourges" and "Paris Bourges" the most, but the whole album sounds interesting
And I'm really happy about the quality
