On 19 September 2015 conquers the German-French culture channel ARTE previously unknown Terrain. The station shows the first tv documentary about Jean-Michel Jarre. Birgit Herdlischle is responsible for the 66-year-old in the recordings to his new album. With this meets the Frenchman a long-cherished dream: He's traveled the world and has with legends of the electronic music songs, recorded with, among other things, Vince Clarke, Gary Numan, Moby, Air, Little Boots and Gesaffelstein. These meetings are the main component of the film. Jarre looks back on his life and his career, from childhood in Lyon and Paris on first experiments with electronic sounds until the nights-success with Oxygène. "He explains us what him to electronic music until today, why he fascinated, even with appearances before a millions of his melancholy will n't get rid of and what his father has to do with it", it says in the announcement of ARTE. Extensive footage from private and public archives illustrated the personal journey in time and the highlights of his career. Complements with up-to-date turned scenes creates a comprehensive picture of the sound of pioneer. Come to word next to Jean-Michel Jarre even his ex-wife Charlotte Rampling, as well as friends, companions and young musician-colleagues. Produced by the ZDF documentary "Jean Michel Jarre-a journey into sound" starts at 21.45.

She had a great debut album a few years ago, featuring the song "Stuck on Repeat":

I concur with Dr_Jones, Little Boots' first album (Hands, 2009) is great. A bit too much in-your-face at times but there are many very good songs on it, Including a duet (Symmetry) with Phil Oakey of the Human League. She likes to use old synthesizers. Her third, new album was just released a few weeks ago. It's called Working Girl and is very good too. Recommended if you like dancey-pop.
