I havent done any Jarre covers for a long time(been working on my own stuff for the last year or so) but have been reworking some of my old sequences, have been playing about with this mix i did a while ago of Oxygene 7...(listening to Radeks covers has sort of inspired to dig out some of my old cover mixes,(Oxygene 12 will follow)

Its only a rough mix,no eq or compression or anything else.. so its pretty raw, theres also a lot of background noise that needs removing, but i shall process it all once the final elements are added...

Instruments used:

Moog Modular VST- Bass
Boss DR660- 808 CL/OP Hihats
Yamaha An1x- Sequence Bass
Yamaha An1x- White Noises
Korg Trinity- Choir
Novation KS5- Eminent "Salicional" Flute sound
Minimoog VST-Kick drum

This is only a short audio clip,i need to add the Eminent Pad parts and do a full mixdown, and overall processing once its done i will post the full track...

So dont rib me about this or that not being right...Its not finished yet and has a long way to go...

Just hit the download

Its a 10mb File so best to "save as" to your PC first...

EDIT: sorry that sound was called something else.

I just finished re-mixing my 1998 Oxygene 7 version.

I like Equin(00)xe's double sequence in the beginning more then my own 2600 sequence... I kinda combined both in one...

No VST's used!!! only SAWplus32...Eminent, 2600, Synthi, S330, JD800, CS2x, FX: StudioQuad, Rev 500, Smallstone :D

Get it here

Haf FUN!

Wow, amazing, very clsoe to the original !
Mabe the bass on the begining has to be changed a little bit but not very important in my ears ;)

Nice one

Especially like the second part (Eminent pad) ver ytrue to the original(albeit a little improv)
I might have a little free time over the weekend to fully finish my track,(Ive been rearranging the studio and rewiring so everything has been in disarray for the last week or 2 so hopefully by the Weekend the studio will be up and running again so i may start reworking Oxygene 7 again so i can post the full track
