Over the past few years I've visited his site on multiple occasions. I absolutely love the way the paintings are done. Very recognizable, yet unique in their own way. Really wish I was able to paint in the same fashion!

Michel Granger is a person certainly gets It.

And what is that elusive "It" .....

That elusive "It" is subtly present throughout Oxygene Equinoxe.

Looking for a nice frame. I will do the dark-blue one, the one on the upper-left.

I do love the Oxygene 7-13 artwork. It is a modern take on the themes of 1976 original. Different, yet related. The colours, all those warm reds and oranges, convey the sound of a more earthy kind of music. The pale blues from twenty years before perfect for the more atmospheric and spacey sounds. I so wish JMJ had gone for another new Michel Granger artwork for Oxygene 3 in 2016. I think of it as colder, and harder edged music. Sharper and darker, but with flashes of yellow and pink emerging from the deep, blue almost black. A globe, of course, combined with a human figure of some sort. Painterly textures, oils and brushstrokes. That's your brief, Michel G - what can you give me?

The digital manipulation of the first Oxygene artwork has always felt cheap and without much effort.

Yeah, I was hoping for new and original Granger art for Oxygene 3. The Oxygene LIYLR artwork was ok, imho.
