I don't know, Scam Citizen is quite notorious for getting people's money and not returning anything for it. It might be a scam.

I've done some research. The game is in development for 6 years and has cost 200 million dollars. People who gave money on Kickstarter haven't gotten anything yet and they're still trying to get money with some shady business practices.
On the other hand: they've had Mark Hamill to work with them as a voice actor and they definately have the money to ask JMJ for a song or two
