I see Deathpact has released a string of remixes of the song ID. All by different artists and all tracks are vastly different:

I wonder what's the story behind this.
Shazam identifies it as ID (Jean-Michel Jarre Remix) too

In this interview from 2019 he stated that he would like to work with Deathpact:

It most likely means "remixed in the style reminiscent of Jean-Michel Jarre". Bait.

So... apparently JMJ shared this on his Instagram.

"It seems that this... whatever it is, is not so straight forward. Apparently, nobody knows who Deathpact is, according to various music websites. The last couple of years there have been viral puzzles, clues and a remix campaign that lead up to something, maybe an album. The JMJ remix, if it is that, is one of several remixes of a track that has not been released in its original form yet.

It seems to be some kind of clever online viral marketing aimed at creating buzz, not unlike how JMJ launched T&T without his name on the song. Mysteries and hints and a hunt for clues, Blair Witch Project style. The fact that JMJ shared a teaser video on his Instagram suggest there is some kind of link between the two artists, perhaps even a legit remix by JMJ."

Wow, nice reference to Welcome To The Other Side, with Deathpact being in front of the Notre Dame.

Track can be bought from Qobuz and probably other digital music stores now. I don't trust Qobuz anymore after the Welcome to the Other Side debacle

Jarre just confirmed on FB live that this is the real deal (i.e. he did this remix)
