Expirimental 2001 petition

I got an email from a friend who saw this petition for JMJ to release Expirimental 2001. For the people who don't know: Expirimental 2001 is one of two albums recorded to get rid of the Francis Dreyfus contract. The other album was of course Sessions 2000. Dreyfus refused to release it and so this album never has seen the light of day.
Anyway, someone has created a petition for JMJ to release this album:

I personally don't think this will succeed, but never say never.

I think sounds or themes or parts of the album had been integrated to later releases. But it's just me.

Doubt it'll help, but I have always been interested in hearing the album. Perhaps one day.

TBH I'm not that interested in it. It's probably rubbish and we all know why it even existed in the first place. I'd much rather have MPS Overture instead.

Sessions is a much better album... Experimental is just far too "experimental"

A long time ago, it was available somewhere.... Unless I'm confusing it with Interior music CD.

Yes, as I understand it, he had two albums remaining on his deal with Dreyfus and in order to get out of contract, he needed to deliver on this deal. The first was Sessions 2000 and the next was Experimental 2001. From what I read, he delivered Experimental 2001 on CD inside a plastic carrier bag, left it on the front desk at the Dreyfus offices in Paris and then walked out. All quite acrimonious and bitter

Wasn't there some stuff with a lawsuit which ruled in favour of Jarre, since technically, there were two albums even if the quality was whatever?
I recall reading something along those lines, but it's vague.

Sessions 2000– Sessions 2000 (2002)is also an album that’s very different from what you’ve done before. And not a very well liked one, by many. Some say it was your “getting out of my contract album.”
– That’s right. It’s absolutely true. II had some real issues with my record company, Dreyfus Records, and this started a very dark period of my life, actually. It also heralded a ten year long court case with Dreyfus. Francis Dreyfus and I were friends, and we grew up together, but I wanted to follow a different path than he wanted me to. He was saying “the Internet is just a joke and it’s not going to last,” and he was just not into technology. Instead he became more and more involved with jazz and his label for that. He released old Charlie Parker records in mono, and I thought that was great. I even encouraged him to do it. But I felt we were simply not on the same page anymore.
However, when Jarre expressed a wish to move on, Francis Drefyus said Jarre owed him two more albums.
– I told him that it wasn’t the case, because we had signed with Sony worldwide, and they had an option for two more albums. But he wouldn’t budge, and finally he didn’t want to talk to me anymore, I had to take everything through his lawyer. I was so upset, that the following Christmas, I put two albums on his desk, and I said goodbye. It was Sessions 2000 and Experimental 2001. This made him so furious that he didn’t want to release them. But he had to release at least one, so they went with Sessions 2000. They still have an entire album, that has never been released.
Since Drefyus was so into jazz, Jarre made Sessions 2000 like an electro jazz album. However, Dreyfus hated it, but he had no choice to but to release it.
– And then it ended up being named the best independent album of the month in the UK, he he. But there are some moments on that album that I really like.
