I don't think so, as these unofficial releases are concert recordings, radio broadcasts of concerts etc. This would be not the case for Electonica 3. It would be named "Electronica Tour" or something like that. Just had a look for the label and found this on Wikipedia: "Legacy Recordings is an American record label that is a division of Sony Music."
The idea of a third Electronica album has been around all these years, so maybe it might indeed become reality now.

A quick glance at the Legacy Recordings home page does imply a bit that a lot of their releases are re-releases or previously unreleased stuff.

I'm quite skeptical. It seems very much like fake news.

First of all I've already seen some speculations today in several Jarre facebook groups about the collaborators and they mention Mike Oldfield. You must be a fool to believe that, obviously, Mike Oldfield retired and Jarre already said that he is too acustic for electronic music.

But also: yes, I remember all the things he said in 2018-2019 about Electronica 1. One of the things he said was that he will release the tracks one by one, because he doesn't want people to not pay attention to the less known artists. And before anyone mentions that "Jarre says a lot of things", this time, he was definitely serious, because this is exactly what he did with Oxymoreworks 4-5 years later.

Oxymoreworks is a much shorter than an Electronica album and still, Jarre needed an entire year to release each track one by one. If this E3 was real and JMJ wanted to do the same thing, he should've release some of them already to have them all released by May next year.

For the first two albums, he needed several years to meet every collaborator, there were pictures, videos of them meeting way before the album. When Jarre was asked this year about what is doing in June, he mentioned the Olympics/Paralympics, he mentioned reworking some tracks (hinted at the Paralympics medley and Time Machine) and concerts. But not any collaborations.

Nah, it all depends on the whatever marketing strategy they came up with this time.

I will never quite understand this one when you look at some of the collaborators he did end up inviting onto the project.
Yes, Oldfield has done a lot of acoustic stuff, but considering stuff like 'Tr3s Lunas' and especially 'The Songs of Distant Earth', it's an odd one to sideline him.
Also, Vangelis, I mean... The most obvious choice was right there, but alas...
Still adore both albums, and still waiting for Travelator Pt. 1, 3 and hopefully we'll get the David Lynch project some day.

I remember two artist that Jarre specifically mentioned in the last few years, he wanted to collaborate with Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz.

Why is Vangelis the most obvious choice? Because fans in the 70s connected them for some reason? They have always been very different people, not just in terms of music, but also their mentality. Vangelis is a more traditional musicial, who used analog electronic instruments in the 70s because he came from a prog rock background and these synths sounded psycheledic, but he had no musique concrete background, he was not fascinated by tape maniputation and later sampling like Jarre. Vangelis became an orchestral artist from the late 80s, 90s while Jarre kept getting more modern embracing every new wave of electronic innovation and style in the 80s, 90s, 2000s, etc.

Vangelis disliked Oxygene, he did not understand the soundscape aspect of it, he said that it's "too simple" and he was very negative about the Fairlight or any digital music making when he was asked. He preferred real time music making instead of the programming, he did not liked computers. Vangelis was not into technology, he preferred the old ways, Jarre is the opposite of that.

Despite of the wonderful post for the passing of Vangelis, Jarre mostly mentioned Wendy Carlos, Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream and Yello as his favourites from that era, he wanted to work with them, not Vangelis, Kraftwerk or Mike Oldfield. It's more like something that fans did, putting JMJ, Vangelis and Oldfield into the same basket. They never viewed each other as their closest colleagues, just one other talented musician out of several others.

I noticed the Legacy label released this rather nice 5 CD box set a few years ago:

Original Album Classics vol 2 was not released by Legacy.

Ref: Oldfield being too acoustic - Lang Lang was on Electronica Vol 1 and he has no connection to electronic music at all, as far as I can tell.
