Hello! :)

I'm planning on buying the 40th anniversary LP of The Concerts in China to add to my collection of Jarre stuff, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether or not the issue with track skipping pressed into the grooves was ever fixed for later releases?

I've been looking at some posts from when the remaster first hit shelves and there was some discussion about poor sound quality and some skips throughout the album, I was just wondering if it got the Zoolook 40th treatment and was fixed in later pressings. (At least I'm assuming the Zoolook remaster was fixed in later pressings after the whole skipping and clicking fiasco...)

Anyways, any helpful answers or information would be appreciated!

I strongly suggest against it. Next to the errors, the vinyl mastering is pretty bad too. Especially with the insane price you could originally buy it for. Nowadays it's a bit cheaper, though. The extra artwork is a pretty nice bonus. As far as I know, the errors have not been fixed. Having said that: I'm just looking at Discogs and I see there's a variant 2 of this album, that might be better:

(check the reviews there too)
