Music is ok,doesnt really grab my attention and the mixing needs sorting out,theres very little stereo depth or width,everything's more or less panned central except for varios white noises,a bit more thought and placement and potential reverb and a little more efx to give it an edge would give the track new life,but its a start...

Not sure about the Metronome either.....was that left in on purpose????

The Journey ...

For someone only about 15 this is pretty neat.
A quite mature work.

Maybe some Human League references : drums bassline.
Main piano & string melody reminiscient of Terminator main melody.
Syncopated bit on 2min43sec maybe a Bronski Beat reference.

Possibly could have ended it after 4min30sec, eg cut out the last minute.
The metronome at the bginning could be removed.
The string lead perhaps could be an octave lower or a different phatter soundign one.

Punchy when the drums & bassline come in.
Nice structure to it.
A driving track.

Isabel Pt. I

Is somewhere along the lines of Koyaanisqatsi (Phillip Glass) & Passion (Peter Gabriel)
with some "typical" Jarre chord progressions (intentional or accident).

Although it does towards the end get a bit repetitive and could do with a matching lead or solo
it is still rather atmospheric and "deep" & imo More interesting than The Journey,
and has scope for a lot of development.

Isabel Pt. II in comparison is pretty forgetable JS Bach / Jeff Wynne.

Your music is very good. My most favourite track is “The Journey”. It is an excellent track (wonderful).

Can’t believe you are making music at only 15 years of age this good. Keep it going Jarp2600. :wink: :D

If you don´t have a name for it yet, then I suggest "To the unknown woman"!! :D :wink:

I like it even though it´s very "beginners-like" if you know what I man?
It somehow reminds me of me when I started making music on my own (I started with a Korg M1 in 1990 when I was 16)
I also did these simple songs, but eventually I got "better"?? :D :wink:

And you are only 15!! :D

I really can sense that you are going to be a great composer some day!!
It´s the feeling I have!! :D

So just keep on going AND believe in yourself!! You REALLY CAN DO IT!!

He probably based it on Vangelis' 'To the unknown man' from his Spiral album ;)
