A large storm has reached Hungary yesterday evening at around 7 pm. Less than 2 hours and the storm devastated Budapest where appromximately 1.500.000 visitor saw firework because of national holiday. After 5 minutes high wind and downpour pursued everyone from coast of Danube river. According to visitors there was a real panic when 1 million people started to go away!!!

Who is the responsible in this case???
Meteorological Service handed over its alert to "Catastrophe Defend Service" (in English?) bit the alert was readed only 23 pm, after 2(!) hours of storm!

What is your opinion???

I don't know IF anybody is responsible for it. It's a nature force, so, you don't always know if it happens. The same with earthquakes and tsunami's: You know such things are going to happen, but you don't know always when...

The people who make it go ahead. Despite the warnings and the possibility of such a storm - they won't postpone it. That's the risk THEY take...

Fortunatelly i wasn't there!!!

Meteorological Service handed the alert but Catastrphe Service didn't inform people, so actually people DIDN'T know how much dangerous storm is coming!

And it was really quick, and it is hard to define the location where the wind wil be!!!

So... ?

Still, the people who organised it, IMHO... who else?

I guess everybody has their own resposibility...going out in a weather like that.

An advanced result has arrived: Meteorological Service also made mistake (!) because it didn't check if the Catastrphe Defend Service got the alert!!!

Of course, members of government didn't make any mistake, of course, of course...!!

Of course, don't you know? The government doesnt make any mistakes! Even when the government doesn't functionate well, it's the fault of sombody else.

They will probably go investigate themselves and find out after 10 months that they could not have forseen it and they will write a report of 347892 pages that's so boring to read nobody will even bother to read it during a toilet visit. That's the way politics work imho...

It sounds to me like a miscommunication. The people who attended could have known, but they did go because it was not cancelled by the organisers, who did know vaguely, but were badly informed. That's sad for today's standards of ultramodern communication...

Its the case of miscommunication! Way of communication was well-organised!
Now, of course, everybody look for the responsible parties...Sad..! THe alert was handed..., but the informatin has lost.

Since the middle of the week internet sites wrote that a stormzone is coming...
