Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

A new server, a new environment. Updated and all.

As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

It's not hard to afford synth as long as you got a job. It all depends, like Jakob said, on what things you choose to spend money on (beside the bills). If you choose to spend money on partying, new clothes, a car, motorcycle or electronic stuff (Flat screen TV, DVD, videogames, computers etc) you w...

I bought an E-bow for my Fender Stratocaster so now I can make some sounds with my guitar that can be mistaken for a synth. Next purchase will be a melodica, a glockenspiel and a smallstone phaser. Then I'm going for a new bass and a Moog LP II. :)

Re: Oxygene part.4 instruments

Though that plucky sound could just as easily be done on the ARP2600, as always with some of these sounds one can't be a 100% sure unless one asks JMJ. It could have been the ARP if JMJ used an external sequencer. I don't think that he played that by hand (I bet Francis could do it ;) ). AFAIK he d...

Haha. I had no idea actually.

Ah, well it doesn't matter as I couldn't afford to go anyway.

I think that he sounded like many in his genre sound nowadays. Maybe I'm getting old...or I've just grown bored on electronic music.

Cool fo him though. It was a still a lot more interesting than the horrible goo my native prick Basshunter has poisoned the world with.

Sweet! I really wish that I could go to the Roskilde festival in Denmark this summer as they will play there. But I'm out of money. Watching Rainbows was an amazing experience the first time I heard it and it keeps growing. Nostalgia, happiness, fear, love, futurism and virtuosity...it's all in there.

It will probably get sold. The price is stupid though. I didn't pay anywhere near that for mine a year ago and I wouldn't spend that amount on a one trick pony. The Solina is a great machine but there are cheaper and equally good string machines out there. My advice is to keep searching. Don't let t...

Nice. Contemporary strings, the melody is even more minimalist sounding than Jarre  perhaps some reverb :punch: And I miss those swoosh effects :( :punch: More minimalist than Jarre? If you're thinking about the end - yes. But then the old man himself was pretty minimalistic on the version o...

I haven't tried it yet, but as a start Im very sceptical about it. Not the sound but the programming process. I have never seen it as an advantage to cut down the amount of knobs. It makes the synth too isolated. I totally agree with you on that one. But compared to other VA:s with few knobs the Bl...

Ugly. But I don't like synths with handles. Too 80's.

But I did like the version without the neck. Looks a little bit like a Pro One. :)

So he still had his EKO Computerhythm back in 1992. Cool! Then I guess that he still owns it considering that only two EKO:s have changed owners (AFAIK) since then. None of them belonged to JMJ. Ok, one of them might have been JMJ:s. But I don't think that this is the case. Too bad he didn't bring i...

I'm thinking about getting a PS3 (again) just for this game. :) I loved Vice City but disliked SA because it was too much "gangsta". Hip Hop is not my cup of tea. Besides that it felt as if they've made a map with too many dead spots instead of improving the graphics. But GTAIV seems to be...
