Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

A new server, a new environment. Updated and all.

As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Absolutely! Yes, the dry sound can be heard through the demo at the begining of this thread. You can hear me messing with settings on the Electric Mistress In that case then my first post in this thread still stands. Comparing Jarre's and yours the differences are stark. You are using a subtractive...

As for the new version - excellent! Loving the wobbly Part II bass being there as well. 8)[/quote]

Thanks my friend! An extremely difficult track to mix correctly and an extremely difficult sequence to learn to play!!

The sound on the Tour demo was a new - yet to be released - Nordlead 2

I made my sound on this very keyboard - getting the first one into the UK!

It is quite a thin sound in isolation and only becomes 'The Oxygene Sound when put through the Electric Mistress pedal

WHY does this infringe copyrights??

I recently completed a ( new ) complete Industrial Revolution Cover and as normal, posted it onto Soundcloud It keeps getting removed based on copyright reasons that it ''might contain Industrial Revolution Part 2 which is the property of Sony Music'' Odd thing is, may cover of Part 2 in isolation i...

Very good! Random sidenote: I think the whole Revolutions album has some interesting mixing going on at times, because the initial/lower strings of the Overture always sounded rougher and even more orchestral-like to me for some reason (I guess it's the P Knight strings)... and I never could have g...

NEW Complete Industrial Revolution Overture

My complete version of this track which I feel is far better than my last thin-sounding effort. The solo is also an improvement. Hope you approve! https://soundcloud.com/mattc-958632216/new-jean-michel-jarre-industrial-revolution-overture-complete-cover D50 Patches are: Machine Run P. Knight Strings...

Love the solo! Also reminds me of thhedk's version of it back in the day, and how it made me realize how "tactical" it was of Mansfield to not show whether or not Dominique Perrier used the pitch bend. ;) The Industrial Revolution solo, I believe, due to the differing pitch bends, was a D...

Paul Wiffen who created the Roland D50 sounds for Revolutions ( on request of JMJ after doing so for the Synthex and Rendezvous ) said that although he was involved in the preparations on stage at Docklands, in the end, due to Health and Safety, everything was switched off and the performance mimed....

Yes, you can hear the 'new' solo played over the first pass of the chorus which I imagine is live as it's very simplistic to play ( I think it's unnecessary and I don't care for it ) but the original solo is definitely mimed and I doubt has been played live ever - made in the studio and playback eve...
