indeed very interesting to read.... On the first picture, I specially like, no LOVE,the reprint of the "Oxygène" cover artwork... would love to have that hanging in my living room.....
Regarding that anecdote Granger told about. I can perfectly recall he was telling me the same story, but not in connection with "Rendez Vous", but "Oxygène 7-13". Granger's story went about like this: "... then JM wanted to have a very similar painting to the one I have done 21 years before, but I said 'don't let uns do that mistake, people would never recognize your album as a completely new one, but think it's just a reworked version of Oxygène'. I then made a first version of that blue man in front of an 'orange-to-red' background which I sent to FDM. Francis seemed to have passed this draft version on to JM, who then called me in the middle of the night and told me some about too much yellow in that picture, although there's no yellow, but only orange nd red in that painting..."
Tried to download and play the mp3-file with the French interview, but didn't succeed with WinAmp... what am I doing wrong here? Well, might as well try this at home again
