this is a rant so if the powers that be lock this topic so be it.
i am getting sick of the music industry blatantly copying ideas practically invented by jean michel jarre. for example. if someone like foo fighters or david gilmore use fireworks or projections in their concerts (most notably david gilmores complete rip off of solidarnosc live) the industry is quick to say how amazing and original it is IT WAS PATENTED BY SOMEONE ELSE WHO NOBODY TODAY REMEMBERS.

does anybody else feel this way, please tell me!!!!!!!

p.s long live Rendez Vouz pt5

Sorry, but Jarre didn't (as you put it) invent it. He copied from others before he became famous via Oxygene. Take for example such groups as 'Yes' and 'Pink Floyd' who were staging concerts like that in the early 1970s.

By the way, shouldn't this be in the 'Rant' thread?
