That's right. Personally I look at the commercial part of Christmas in another way. It's just a part of the culture here and it always bring back some good memories. Listening to christmas music, eating ginger cake and peppernuts and all that usual stuff. All that combined makes me love December :D

I'm with both you guys on this one. I love the season and what it stands for, but actively choose not participate in the commercialism. Best thing about the holidays for me is the opportunity to spend time with friends and loved ones, NOT about spending $$$ you can't afford to buy gifts.

Ginger cake and peppernuts, eh? Over here it's fruitcake and Christmas cookies...
