There's something that I don't think has been mentioned in the past 20 pages or so.

With the European leg of this tour spanning the summer, and there being four dates at least in the UK. I think there is a very strong and reasonable chance that Jean Michel may actually be included in the 2009 Glastonbury lineup. He has mentioned on numerous occasions about the possibility and desire to perform at the festival, and the Festival in 2009 spans the final weekend of July.

Also Michael Eavis has stated that he would like a more low key lineup after the problems with the 2008 festival. Jarre would certainly slide nicely into a "low key" category in th UK whilst at the same time bringing a certain class and reverence in addition to an obvious spectacle that has never really accompanied the Glastonbury festival.

The Convenience of this tour being an arena show fits in perfectly with the setup that a festival the size of Glastonbury provides, and would not be at all difficult logistically.

So as these dates are discovered and announced keep your eyes on that final weekend in July, if there is a date free on Jammy's tour schedule then maybe he will be making an appearance.

It would be good for JMJ to make an appearance at the Glastonbury Festival. I wonder which tracks he would choose to play if that is the case, amongst the mud. :D
I like the map, Michael. I am under two pins out of the 15, atm.

That's an interesting question. It depends on what "slot" he would have. Presuming he warranted a main stage appearance, if he headlined he would get an hour set, if not he would get thirty minutes.

Thinking about what tracks to perform to appeal to a large crowd of mainly studenty kids who may never have heard of JMJ with the intention of blowing them away?

Perhaps we should set up a new thread solely for this speculation?

You could open a new thread Vermillion as it was your idea. :D But at the moment, it will only be what we think JMJ should/could do. :fine:

Me too, for most of the time. But he listened recently. He is coming back to the UK. Now, I am telling him that he must go to America, Australia, Brazil, etc.

I'd even considered resorting to reverse psychology, demanding he doesn't come anywhere near me and then he might just do the opposite. lol

It was so irritating when I left the UK in November 2007 just as he was preparing to return to my homeland....dammit!!!
