It must be Jarre, definitely Deserted Palace style :D
I hope you can find the other commercials as well (Nestlé, Pepsi, Autoroute A4)!
but I also read somewhere he composed music for the International Festival of Magic (a warmup track of 15 minutes).
Anyone knows more?

I always thought the Festival of Magic theme was Hypnose, but that's not 15 minutes.

Dominique Webb was the vocalist on the A-Side of the single.
The B-Side was the instrumental version. The release was credited to both JMJ and Dominique Webb. :D

I only could find one vinyl release from Dominique Webb:
The LP "La Psychosomnie, Methode Contre l'Insomnie" (1970)

It only has 2 long tracks : La Psychosomnie (La Relaxation) / Other side : Méthode contre l'Insomnie.

interestingly, this site also states:
the background electronic music is one of the first work by famous french musician JEAN MICHEL JARRE.

Could this really be an unknown work from him :) ??

Oh by the way: I just checked the Radio Walhalla interview: Jarre is not telling he will write music for airports, he is just praising the attitude of Brian Eno that HE writes that kind of music, and Jarre likes this approach ;)
And Muzac is a pejorative term for songs designed for playing in shopping malls, telephone systems, airports, and television shows, and is also called "elevator music".
Sounds verry much like 'Deserted Palace', 'Music for Supermarkets' and 'Sports en Fete' :pwned:

So what you can read on some websites: "He also composes music for the airport company Underground Musaks", this is just a BIG misunderstanding :D !!.

So he composed 'musak' - but for what company? Underground Air? :peacemaan:

Wikipedia-
In 1968 JMJ began to experiment with tape loops, radios and other electronic devices, and in January 1969 he joined the Groupe de Recherche Musicale (GRM) under the direction of Pierre Schaeffer, the 'father' of musique concrète. Schaeffer taught Jarre that "music isn't made of notes, it's made of sounds", and introduced him to synthesizers, the EMS VCS 3 and the Moog modular synthesizer. In GRM, Jarre was taught to think about music in terms of sounds instead of notes, and this had a huge influence upon him. He also studied foreign musical styles (African, Indian, Chinese and other oriental music) from which he learned a lot.
Here are two tracks by Pierre Schaeffer from the late 50's. I think there's a comparison with Jarre's early works.

Wow - this is really hot!!! :D :shock: :D Maybe this is Jarre's real first album - not 'Deserted Palace'... Damn, I have no turntable... :cry:
