This is a bootleg. It has been released in 1993. Mind the '93' as suffix to the original number on the label.

In 1993, I bought this record new in at Fame Music in Amsterdam, so I believe it's a pressed in Holland. They seemed to have unlimited stock in this shop for a short time. Bear in mind that Fame Music isn't just a small, second hand shop or something. It's a large CD store. Four years later, Jarre was there himself, promoting his Oxygene 7-13 album just before the release.

I bought this LP too in 1993 and the seller say to me that it was imported from Holland. May be you are right that it was pressed in Holland...

I bought mine in 1993 too from a guy from The Netherlands. He told that it was a semi-official release to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album. But for me it is just a bootleg, which is made very good. For me it was the first chance to listen to that album, so I didn´t care in 1993 if it was a bootleg or not.

I've noticed out that my original painting "Spiracula" featured in 2006 on JarreUk
has been fraudulently exploited on Ebay and on Ultramusic store http://www.ultramusicstore.com/jean-mic ... -3400.html
as cover for an illegal compilation titled "Jarre greatest hits"(and according to your previous posts of 2008 it seems that this isn't the first time).
It' useless to say that I warn you to not consider seriously this item.
Moreover, I'll invite you to report any similar cases of copyright abuse.

Thansk very much for your cooperation.

p.s. Few minutes ago the seller on Ebay has removed the item after he got my email complaint.

Have you contacted eBay? You should look into their VERO scheme which looks after Interlectual Property Rights, here's the link http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/tp/programs-vero-ov.html

Unfortunately it seems that this digipack has been already pressed in 500 or more copies in 2008 in a sort of digipack deluxe edition by an illegal russian label called Star Mark compilations.
Today I've noticed out that more copies resurfaced on Ebay
http://shop.ebay.it/items/?_nkw=jarre+g ... &_osacat=0
and that it's still on sale on many other music webstores.

On this website there's also a visual presentation of the digipack
http://muz-heaven.com/phpshop8/?page=sh ... c4e1deadce
where you can clearly see that they infringed four times the copyright by exploiting

1- The music of Jarre
2- My painting
3- The photos used for the inlay printings
4-The Warner Music logo

Therefore I think that I cannot stop this illegal international commerce just sending some email to Ebay or webmasters.

These CD's are on ebay for a couple of weeks now:

http://cgi.ebay.com/JEAN-MICHEL-JARRE-E ... 53972087QQ

You can also buy these CD's from http://www.salerussia.com

http://www.salerussia.com/cd/Jarre_Jean_Michel_E_GV.jpg

It looks stunning and although it resembles a real Japanese MFSL-release it's probably a Russian bootleg. The CD says 'Ultradisc II' and as far as I know, official Japanese MFSL-releases are called "Ultradisc I'.

Be careful....

As far as I know:

UltraDisc I = made in japan
like this one:

UltraDisc II = made in US
like this one:

As far as I know, there were no ultradisc JMJ releases from Japan. But now there seems to be a a Japanese Ultradisc II (!!) release from Russia! :)
