"The threat to the UK from international terrorism has been raised from substantial to severe - meaning an attack is "highly likely".

Announcing the move, Home Secretary Alan Johnson said although the threat had increased there was no intelligence to suggest an attack was imminent. But he urged people to be vigilant.

He added that it was not specifically linked to the Christmas Day plane bomb plot or any other incident, although it comes ahead of a major counter-terrorism conference in London next week.

Mr Johnson said: "The Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre (JTAC) has... raised the threat to the UK from international terrorism from substantial to severe."

Wow, someone on the news team must have been tripping out when they wrote that

So! . . . . . . . . . . 1/ were now on servere alert, even though there is nothing to worry about. 2/ a terrorist attack is iminent, but we dont know when and by whom. 3/ must stay vigilant, from whom we dont really know. 4/ an attack is higly likely, from whom and when is anybodys buisness.

I will try not to panic.

It's a Monday, which only means one thing . . . . . . Numpty Alert!

Not been well the past few days, so this morning had a bit of a lay-in as I did not get too much sleep last night. So, at 11am was in the bathroom when I heard a bump and a rattle of my side gate that leads into the rear garden. Went and had a look through the back bedroom window and saw nothing, so went downstairs in my PJs, into the livingroom to have some guy staring at me through the patio doors. I grabbed the door keys and shot outside to confront him. He was only some workman from a company sent to unblock a reported drain. The guy had climbed over my 7ft tall "locked" garden gate and into my garden, looking for a manhole cover to the drains.

Not only was he at the wrong house, but in the wrong street. Firstly he blamed it on his Sat Nav, then on me for not answering the door in the first place. I would have if he had 1/ used the door bell and 2/ used the door knocker but he "lightly" tapped on the door and getting no answer (because I was in the shower), carried on with his job. At first he refused to leave because he was there to carry out a job. I told him he had the wrong house then I gave him a grilling for tresspassing. I told him to get his stuff and get off my property. He then took it upon himself to start an argument with me saying that "I" was being unco-operative with him. . . . WTF!. I then started to move some of his equipment he had drapped over the gate and his tool box. He got angry with me for "touching" his property. I lost my rag and threw his stuff onto the drive and told him to move quickly before I rang the police.

Anyway, he left after giving me a shed load of verble. However, last laugh is on me as I took the companies phone number and rang them, making a serious complaint of which they promised to speak with the workman and if needed, could press charges against him.

If I'm not mistaking strobe lights are the worst kind for epileptics?
Can't remember if there were much of that during JMJ's performance.
But actually I did forgot most of the lights as they started to play.
