May I say something? If you don't like something in "Space Of Freedom", maybe you should talk with administrators of that forum, they could change something. Why you say it here? I really don't understand this kind of posts. Some of people on this forum like compare BlahBlah & SOF. Could you tell me what is the point of it? Did anyone from SOF was talking about this forum bad? You want to appreciate yourseves or what? No kidding :/.

It's good that there are two forums. What would a world with no choice be like? Imagine only one political party or only one flavour of ice cream. Imagine having to support Fulham as the only football team, heaven forbid! (but at least then they might win something then!)

You don't know. Maybe, yes.

And if he wants to express his opinion here, he's free to do so. There's no need to offend him for doing so. No, I won't encourage him to talk badly about the other forum, but his post isn't that negative.

hi guys

ive sent moviemaker a personal email regarding the issues he's had with viewing the forum

basically, if you are reading the forum in Hybrid or Threaded mode for each thread, then these can be a little confusing, especially if people start to reply to different posts etc thats on a different part of the thread

however, if you use the Linear mode, then the viewing is the same as this forum, with the newest post in each thread being at the top of the page (but not the bottom, like this forum).

you can switch views by clicking on the Display Modes link at the top of each thread, which is next to "Rate Thread"

hope this helps

and on a seperate note, we actively encourage people to contact ourselves directly if you have any comments or suggestions regarding the forum, or have any trouble with it, and have a seperate section on the Forum for discussing this also :)

there's no use in keeping quiet (or as elee has said, talk about it here) when you can easily come to us with any trouble you have and we'll look into the problem and see if there's anything we can do to rectify anything - it's called being constructive and helpful to one another... peace 8)

and btw, this isnt the movie, 'Highlander' (ie "There can be only one") because, as other people have pointed out, sometimes it's better to have a choice instead of just the 1 and only option....

and also, dont forget other websites have forums aswell....

*plug mode on

www.jeanmicheljarre.pl - they have their own forum (ok, in Polish, but still, it's a forum

www.jeanmicheljarre.dk - they have their own forum too and people are welcome to post on there aswell, and that's in english and danish...

*plug mode off

so you see, everyone can post where they wish... SOF is a friendly place, and so is this forum too....

peace out

Thanks for the post Robin!

I see the changes now on SOF and it works much better for me thanks for the help and guidance.

Didn't mean to "offend" anyone or waste valuable thread space elee.

Thanks for the defense GeeJee!

Keep up the amazing work!

A little competition does not hurt anyone. The more the merry. This just goes to show how the jarre community is worldwide and sometimes it is nice to view a different perspective. I visit most forums that Robin has mentioned and I see no problem with any of them.
