From Fairlight Jarre
http://en.jeanmicheljarre.es/memories-r ... m-in-2011/
We can already announce that 2011 will see a new Jean Michel Jarre album.

This album is called “Memories & Rarities”, a double CD album which includes hits, inedits and pre-Oxygene material.

The launch of the album is due to be held on the three first months of 2011.

My guess:
CD 1 is called "Rarities" and contains La Cage and other pre-Oxygene stuff and "unreleased" tracks like Palawan. CD 2 will be called "Memories" and contains some unreleased concert tracks...

My guess is that the rarities part would be the now difficult to get hold of tracks that, (if I have my facts right), as of 2011 JMJ has the rights to rather than Dreyfus. I'm thinking of tracks such as some of the mixes in Jarremix, Revolutions extended mix, RV4 special mix, perhaps the remixes of Zoolookologie and Zoolook from the 1985 Zoolook release. I'm guessing these are going to be intermingled with other JMJ tracks we all know like Oxygene 4 to create a compilation album.

I agree with 1906 and I hope that!

Pre-Oxygene stuff and yet unreleased live or not live materials. (Release of Oxygene 5 / Variations 3...you know my opinion.....would be great! :D )

And double-album! This has come to my mind also...It really should be double-album! And now reading it... :)

Note that, this release is not the one of which JMJ has been spoken for a while now. The brand new studio album is about to come after this album. The brand new one.

...Happy that Memories & Rarites will have a physical album release.
