That show would have been interesting from what I heard from it. It was a new version performed by the Amoco Renegades. The studio from Christine Bravo was much smaller then the one from Drucker's or Foucault's, I doubt there were giant puppets, as it could not be shot outside, wintertime.

Man, a full clip would be really awesome... the track sounds really great with definitely real steel drums being played (same with the French TV clip that shows the Amoco Renegades playing it in Trinidad & Tobago).

This comes from an end-of-year compilation broadcast. I missed the one broadcast in november, that probably has the full song.

Not exactly a TV performance (Jarre was a guest at this programme) but they show his Oxygene 4 videoclip. I got this stuff from a very good friend, who kindly gave me permission to upload it. Notice the effects on this video, which are not present on the video we all know.

This video was recently uploaded to YouTube, seems to be the full version of the Calypso performance by the Amoco Renegades:

"Bring in this Monsieur Jarre, he is one of ours... He has almond eyes, and they're very dark..."

- From the self-titled "Jean-Michel Jarre" biography, 1987 / 1988.

They superimposed (then) present day video of JMJ over the original promo - a nice touch - and a rare version of the promo :)
