Dierstien also midified one of JMJ's eminents and added built-in Smallstone Phaser and Electric Mistress Flanger.

More interesting than the name of the guy is the name of the instrument....

It's an Ondes Martenot! Will JMJ use it on his next album?

Sounds promising to me. The Ondes Martenot is a great instrument. 8)

I'm positive ONLY the photo was showing with no caption, hence why I asked. Unless it's been edited since.

Huh? I meant the post on here, not Jarre's post on his Twitter account :pwned:

so now E&R is out, which I bought, I first admired the artwork, casing and vinyl look which are great, I listened to it once and decided it's not for everyday. So back into the cd player went the remastered 'catalog' version of Kraftwerk's Computerworld which I recently discovered to be absolutely brilliant.

Now we can get back to a topic I hope to hear in my cd player as soon as possible; is there any news on when Jarre's real new studio album will be out? Is it still expected in 2011?

Rather 2012. It was stated so in a swiss webzine.

ah bummer, it's been talked about for so long now and the Thé ou Café clip with this song excerpt also has been a while.

Can't wait for the magical moment of turning off all phones and the internet, unplugging the doorbell, closing the curtains and putting a new Jarre studio album in the cd-player and sit back as I prepare to be musically and sonically amazed, then press play and hear the first notes!

Jarre is thinking of an innovating way of releasing is music. Will there be a physical release ? Could be or could be not.

One thing I'm pretty sure of, Jarre will wait for his release to coincide to a huge concert next year, the way Rendez-vous (Houston), Revolutions (Docklands), Waiting Cousteau (La Défense) were released.

If it is early in the year, the concert is more likely to occur in Southern Hemisphere for weather considerations.
