Hi everyone,

In one of the interviews JMJ said - "the tape is pretty different from what has been shown on tv".

So, did anyone record the broadcast?

P.S. Here's the interview

The main difference is the omission of the Ehnicolor - Ethni Transistion piece (the TV broadcast goes straight into Zoolookologie), and a few different camera angles. Note it's the UK TV broadcast that's referred to - apparantley the French and European broadcasts were much closer to what was released on video.
Concerts attended:
Destination Docklands 1988
Paris la Defense 1990
Europe in Concert - Wembley Stadium 1993
Oxygene Tour - Wembley Arena 1997
Theatre Marigny Paris 2007
Oxygene Tour - NCH Dublin 2008
2010 Tour - The 02 Dublin The 02 London (10-10-10)
Electronica Tour - 3Arena Dublin 2016

I myself didn't notice any changes between the Finnish TV broadcast from 1991 and the UK VHS I got in 2004.

CPLT's Finnish TV broadcast, however, had a special intro (which I still maintain being superior to the other versions' intros) and most of the "pauses" between tracks were radically shortened (I think his speech before RV4 was also omitted, haven't watched the tape in years).

UK broadcast of CPLT is a lot different compared to a laser disc and vhs realeases.

The French broadcast of La Defense (September 1990, iirc) is quite similar to the video release. It does have a longer speech at the beginning. And no, there was no live TV broadcast.

I have an old VHS copy of it somewhere, but as I'm in the middle of a house move I won't be able to get near it until the new year - I'll transfer it then :)

Well, ****. I was always afraid footage like that would exist out there (or possibly I was just in denial and more afraid that it'd actually show up at some point!) somewhere but aside from glimpses like that, full footage will forever remain unattainable!

Great find, though!
