I never heard about Gesaffelstein before. (The Name sounds German/Austrian  ) But I like this song much more as "Glory" .

this is kinda cool! definitely hear Jarre in there, phased strings, heavy drums which are vaguely reminiscent of Revolution, Revolutions with the heavy drums.

I like this the more I hear it, now look forward to the rest of the track and especially the one with Armin!

Oh yeah, Conquistador is definetely more Jarresque. I like the dark vibe, it reminds me of this extract from the Depeche Mode album (Construction Time Again) :

Conquering China - Glory - Conquistator

...and as I've looked on Gesaffelstein's youtube channel..."Hate Or Glory" (2013)!

Like a red line of coincidences the ingenuity is amazing.
I'm (not) conspiratorial. :P

Well...this bodes well.

"6504089_Conquistador_Original_Mix.wav": +6,7
"6504090_Conquistador_JMJ_Rmx_Extended.wav": +6,3
"6504091_Conquistador_JMJ_Rmx.wav": +5,7

"6504090_Conquistador_JMJ_Rmx_Extended.mp3": +5,8
"6504091_Conquistador_JMJ_Rmx.mp3": +5,2

I did use a simple java application for this, DRC-Meter.

1.0 - 2.5: weak compression

Oh, you can buy the single release on BeatPro for 6.51 €.

Scratch that, it's 8.50 € (for me) when it adds bleedin' tax on top of it.

Oh wait, it's now 10.75 €* when I choose WAV as the format since, y'know, lossless.

Yeah, I don't think so, chief.

It's a good track, though, now that I've listened to the samples a few hundred times. But still.

* = And yes, I was the one prepared to pay 500 € for the original Kraftwerk red vinyl edition of Die Mensch Maschine. Sure, it's rare, but still...
