Football and Sónar, five artists and their connections with the ball - June 2016
Lyon musician, one of the headliners Sónar-2016 , already had a strong link with football in 1998, during World organized in their country. That tournament was won by France in what was the consecration of Zinedine Zidane (who incidentally was featured in a documentary with music by Mogwai which screened at the 2007 Sonar). 'Rendez-Vous-98' is a mini - album of remixes created jointly by the French composer and English electronic group Apollo 440-98 World purpose. The album was presented live at the concert that took the same name, held on 12 July 1998 under the Eifel Tower, the day of the final of that tournament, which France won 3-0 to Brazil.
