Jean-Michel Jarre: "
Festivals like Tomorrowland lean heavily on what I did long ago"
Dear JmJ you need do one more City in Concert to remind these new kids on the block and the world who the godfather is.
Can't see it happening.
1. Jarre has said the large concerts "vampiresed "(spelling?) the music
2. JMJ isn't as famous as he once was (after his long lay off and T&T)
3. There's not the money to put on large shows these days.
4. Security at large event due to recent terrorism would be a nightmare.
# People went to Cities In Concert because something inside them pulled them.
JmJ no where near as famous as Celine Dion, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, Queen.
Something intrinsic in JmJ in JmJs music in Cities in Concert.
# JmJ' s Cities in Concert free for poor families transported them to another place, inspired their creativity, ignited their imagination.
Homeless people for a few hours were transported from their misery.
Depression filled, lonely teens adults rescued for a few hours.
Rendezvous Houston healed a City, helped heal NASA.
# Security : unfortunately real perpetrators are far closer to home.
# Money : not an issue when tech billionaires springing up left right and centre.
