JMJ Artwork.JPG
Hello everybody,

For many, many years I have this drawing on the wall.

I can't say when I got it and from memory I think it came as gift in a box of chocolates (nothing sure). :?
This is an A4 format... we see a number and a JMJ signature.

Now the design corresponds to the 'Calypso' era, between the album "Waiting for Cousteau" and the "Concert de la Défense" in Paris.
It lets thinking of both the Calypso music video and the artwork used for the concert de la Défense.

But I never found out more about it.

What do you think, do you know? Do you have it too? Are there other variations?

I think Conductor of the Masses mentioned it in one of their magazines, I have to look it up. It does come from a chocolate box.

I can't seem to find it in the CotM magazines, issue 7 (1991/1992) has a black&white print of it on the last page, so it must be around that time I guess.
I do have the chocolate box myself, not the A4 print (and neither the chocolates), but that doesn't have a year printed on it.

The box can fit an A4 print. I will post photos of it this evening if you want.

Ah, I got some info from a friend, it's 1992:

Dorénavant Jarre se consacre presque entièrement à la musique. Toutefois en 1992 on pouvait se procurer une reproduction d’un tableau de Jarre, que celui-ci avait peint pour une boîte de chocolat Poulain. Il ne serait pas surprenant qu’un jour Jarre reprenne ses pinceaux et laisse tomber ses claviers.

Thanks for this link

In the same time I wrote this :
Finally I don't remember if I cut it to to put it under glass or if it was inside. Not sure because this is really A4 format
In any case, it corresponds well to the period indicated. So far I have found my Conductor of the Masses since issue 8, A5 format.
I can't get my hands on the others right now.
But I m curious to see this box that I haven't anymore.
