Incredible that this will finally go ahead. I just checked and there were discussions about a JMJ & Brian May concert in Tenerife (which was mentioned in the press conference) in 2008 already:

Here's my rip of the press conference:

I'll take it offline when Starmus publishes their version.

I wonder how notorious is Brian May in 2024 compared to Hank Marvin back in 1988. And if there is any kind cof onnection I could make with the Queen's fanclub…

Wow! This is exciting! 😀

Quick question, it says "Free To Attend" ... does that mean it's ticketless too?

My brother is a Queen fan, and he sent me the notification this morning, so it seems word is going out on the Queen side as well.

I look forward to hearing the two of them together- being a big fan of Mr J and Queen. - there’s been talk for years of them collaborating, dating back to the 30th anniversary Oxygene tour, as I recall.

I'm pretty sure it is. The tickets on the Starmus website are from 13-17 may

I wonder what time the concert will be, as the last train to Vienna departs at 23:16. This hasn't been announced, has it?

I'd say Brian May is more Patrick Rondat than Hank Marvin :D

Sunset in Bratislava on Sun 12 May is 20:19 so assuming concert needs darkness for the full effect, maybe a 20:30 or 21:00 start?
