As a statement, only one copy was pressed, treating it as singular work of art. The master was destroyed, and the album was played once on French radio. This vision could be seen as the precursor to today’s NFT concept, underlining the value of music as a unique creation.
Fun fact: Pet Shop Boys' Yes-box was #5 on that list. That box, released by Vinyl Factory who also released the 3 JMJ 12"s from Electronica 1, is amazingly expensive nowadays.

You know, seeing this earlier reminded me of another "repaired" version I found a year or two ago, they haven't remastered the full album and just stuck to the overture:
Although there's a lot more noise, I personally think it's the best of these repair attempts since the instruments sound a lot less muffled compared to other recordings.
Would be great if I could figure out how they got this result, I could maybe try to use the same method on the full album and just use some de-noising afterwards, but who knows...

That said, comparing those two videos with the """remaster""" I did in Nero Burning ROM of all things back in the day (at least I think that's the one, it's the oldest one I found anyway) made me realize there's still a long way to go >_>

Doesn't sound like much was fixed tbh. I feel like I could achieve similar results without using AI. Ngl I do kind of hope that one day AI will get to the point of being able to restore AM quality audio like that, but I don't think that exists right now, and that's putting aside the issue of morality.

Definitely not. This sounds to me like the one bootleg that just removes the announcer and fades in.
I would love to know what Blitz magazine says on page 30, about the Kraftwerk comparison - "But then...." - but then what? Argh!
